When visiting the city of Lumpia, Semarang,
especially for art lovers, doesn't feel complete if you go around the old city
but don't stop by the Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery or also known as the
Semarang Gallery.

Contemporary Art Gallery is not the only Gallery Museum in Semarang, but this
museum is one of the museums that should not be missed on the list of visits or
when traveling in Semarang.
Although a 2-storey building which has now become the Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery, This building was once a place of worship for Catholics, Indonesia's first insurance company, warehouse, motorcycle dealer, company office, and factory. Which was then in 2007 when the ownership of the building was in the name of Chris Darmawan (as an art collector) and in 2008 this building began to be visited.
With the arrangement of the museum that looks modern
minimalist with the works that keep changing every month, so that visitors will
continue to be presented with different works and will not be bored with the
works on display.
Visitors only need to pay a fee of IDR 10,000 to be able to get it all by coming between Tuesday-Friday at 10.00 Am - 16.00 PM. The exact location of this Museum is in Jl. Taman Srigunting No. 5-6, Tj. Mas, Kec. Semarang Utara, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah (50174). Its location which is still in the old city area is also easy to reach, because apart from being accessible using private vehicles such as motorbikes, cars, public transportation, but also accessible by train (for visitors who come from out of town), because of its location close to Tawang Station.
